Imagine a drug molecule that goes directly to the diseased cell, instead of spreading throughout the body.<\/span><\/span> More <\/span><\/span>and more research is now focusing on just that, on so-called targeting drug molecules.<\/span><\/span> It can, for example, bind to cancer cells and irradiate them, but can also be used in diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.<\/span><\/span> How does the technology work, how close are the breakthroughs and what could it mean for the future of healthcare?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
