New call – SSF Adjunct professor or adjunct lecturer!
SSF announces for the second time the program Adjunct professor, now with the addition adjunct lecturer. The announcement is aimed at highly qualified people employed in Swedish business, healthcare providers or government authorities who are seeking employment as either an adjunct professor or an adjunct lecturer at a Swedish university.
The foundation finances strategic research of the highest quality that contributes to Sweden’s future competitiveness. In addition, the foundation shall promote the mobility of researchers. According to Statistics Norway’s statistics, close to 80 percent of Swedish researchers work in business or the public sector. The purpose of the call is to give these researchers the opportunity to develop their research at the academy, and thus increase knowledge transfer and cross-fertilization between the sectors.
SSF has set aside SEK 15 million for ten grants, corresponding to approximately 10 percent of a part-time position as an adjunct professor or lecturer, over a period of three to six years. Since the scope of such a position is normally 20 percent, one day a week, co-financing is required for the remainder from the main employer.
The researcher must conduct strategic research within one of the foundation’s areas; science, technology or medicine.
The application deadline is January 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
The project must start between May 1 and December 1, 2024.
SSF changes the requirement for employment at HEI to between two (2) and six (6) years. Please download this new version of the call text where this change has been introduced.
