New opportunity to apply for Strategic mobility!
Time to try something new? Apply for “Strategic Mobility 2018”! The program, which does not require a Ph.D, simplifies for researchers from industry or academia to work in the other sector by SSF financing the salary of the person during the excange. From 2018 the programme is also open for researchers within the public domain, outside the academia.
The Foundation for Strategic Research has allocated SEK 15 million for a strategic mobility initiative for a period of two years. Each grant within the program covers a researcher’s or a corresponding person’s salary for a four to twelve month exchange service in a sector other than the one the person is currently active within. During the stay, guest researcher shall conduct strategic research within any of the Foundation’s areas of responsibility, which are:
- Information, Communication and Systems Technologies (ICT)
- Life sciences with a focus on technologies and Bioengineering
- Materials Research with a focus on new and better functionality and production.
It is possible to apply for exchange between academia and hospital. Government, county council and municipality can also be considered as “business partners” in cases where the applicant can justify how it strengthens Sweden’s future competitiveness.
The closing date for the application is 6 September, 2018, at. 14.00. Earliest project launch can will be 2019-01-01. Please write the application in English!
