This year’s grant recipient of Strategic Mobility 2024

In the SSF Strategic Mobility program, researchers are given the opportunity for one to two years to change workplace from academia/research institute to industry/authority/hospital, or vice versa. The 2024 grant recipients have now been appointed.

Ten million SEK is distributed among nine projects. The goal of the program is to increase knowledge transfer and cross-fertilization between different sectors and to give researchers the opportunity to develop in a new environment.

As usual, the projects have a wide range of topics. It is about getting AI to adapt to how people actually want them to interact, through so-called “human-in-the-loop” learning, about adapting grain cultivation to northern latitudes due to a warmer climate, and developing biomedical tools to determine abusive head trauma in infants in a medically and legally safe manner.
