Summary
Research and graduate school in vehicle structures with an integrated perspective where energy efficiency, noise level, working life, weight and use of information technology are taken into consideration in the design stage. An interdisciplinary approach is taken, so that materials, design, production and the product work together to create good vehicles for the road as well as marine vessels and aeroplanes. A virtual laboratory is created in the programme where participating researchers have an opportunity to work towards models of different vehicle structures.
