Searching for the blowfish poison in Swedish mussels

With increased sea temperatures, more toxins can be formed in the Swedish oceans, toxins that can be absorbed by mussels and oysters that we eat. A very dangerous toxin is what is found in the pufferfish or blowfish and it may be on its way to Sweden. Therefore, Aida Zuberovic Muratovic at the National Food Administration / Uppsala University is developing new methods for finding the toxins.
