Grants for Korean-Swedish Research Collaboration 2024

Do you want to do research together with South Korean groups? Search for “Grants for Korean-Swedish Research Collaboration 2024”!

The program is a collaboration between NRF, the National Research Foundation of the Republic of Korea and SSF, the Foundation for Strategic Research. The organizations invest together close to SEK 100 million and will select about ten projects. The grants must be used for research collaboration, joint seminars, conferences, workshops and exchange of researchers between the applicant groups, over a three-year period.

The research must be in natural science, technology or medicine and must contribute to development in one of the areas: Semiconductors, displays, rechargeable batteries, hydrogen technology, smart transport, next-generation nuclear power, biotechnology, aeronautics, marine technology, cyber security, AI, robotics or communication technology.

The application must have a Korean and a Swedish research program manager and describe the proposed collaboration, which potential project participants will participate and include a budget. An application with the same content must be submitted simultaneously to NRF from the Korean research program manager and to SSF from the Swedish research program manager. The application must be written in English.

The deadline for applications is April 15 at 14:00!

The earliest project start is 1 November 2024.
