They receive grants for Taiwan projects
The Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) are investing for the second time in a joint program for Swedish and Taiwanese researchers. Ten Swedish projects have now been designated, each receiving 5 million kronor for research in collaboration with Taiwan.
Participating Taiwanese research groups will receive a corresponding grant of 8 million TWD each from NSTC. The grants will go towards research with associated seminars, conferences and workshops, as well as the exchange of researchers between the participating groups.
A previous Taiwan initiative in 2019 was a success with excellent research results and innovations. This is reflected in the new initiative where the application pressure was very high, a total of 107 applications were received.
