Summary
The graduate school has a broad focus on the materials field. It is located in Göteborg and is run jointly by Chalmers and GU under the Faculty of Technology and Natural Sciences. It also includes a biomaterials section, which is open to students from the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology. Participating in the graduate school are doctoral students who are linked to the SSF programmes Molecular Engieering in Polymer Science and Biocompatible Materials, as well as doctoral students connected to other materials projects at Chalmers and GU. The programme ends in this format in 2002. SSF has awarded a grant of SEK 6 M for a three-year extension.
