Summary
Research and graduate school for product development in engineering with a focus on construction theories and methods, simulation and digital prototypes as well as the organisation of engineering work. Activities are carried out in six clusters: simulation in product development, product models, methods of working in product development, organisation and co-operation in product development, subcontractor relations and development of methods. An effective research network between doctoral students and their advisors is created through the clusters. Conditions are also promoted for research across boundaries. The programme ends in 2002.
