Summary
Graduate school and research programme in the field of human-machine interaction. The aim is to develop knowledge about how interaction between technical systems and people – users – is to be formed so that the use of systems is effective, safe and comfortable. This development is achieved through the interplay of behavioural scientists and engineers. Special weight is placed on the design of IT-based systems and interaction with real time systems. The programme ended in this format in 2001. SSF has awarded a grant of SEK 7.5 M for a three-year extension of the graduate school.
