Summary
The programme Network for Inflammation Research (NIR) is designed as a national network. The goal of the network is to be recognised as a school of scientific excellence for doctoral and postdoctoral training. The network is to encourage basic research in inflammation, particularly with respect to bridging the competence of existing research units at universities and in industry. An essential component is a graduate school that will provide training for a broad foundation in inflammation research.
