Summary
The goal of this nationally co-ordinated research programme and graduate school is to create one of the three leading centres in the world in this field. The programme is aimed in particular at working further with strategically fundamental aspects of molecular phenomena on surfaces and boundary layers, aspects that have not received sufficient attention in Sweden. There are five subprogrammes: Dynamic Surface Forces, Aqueous Polymer Mixtures and Gels, Chemical Reactions in Organised Media, Interfacial Aspects of Cellulose, and Concentrated Dispersions.
