Summary
INALLOY is an interdisciplinary research programme that combines experimental and theoretical activities directed to study of fundamental properties of structural intermetallics. The intermetallic alloys and compounds represen the major class of strucural materials used in modern industry. Their physical and chemical properties are attractive for technological applications, for example, in high strength superalloys, magnetic materials, refractory compounds and so on.The main propose of the programme is to create a new competence in Sweden in the field materials design.
