Summary
National graduate training programme in multiphase flow mechanics with applications in the Swedish process industry. The aim of the programme is to provide industry with highly educated employees, raise the general level of skills and develop industrial design methods for new and improved processes. Seven research projects are included, three of which involve bio- and chemical engineering processes, two (paper) fibre processing and one metallurgy. A joint project concerns numerical methods. An industrial association,Swedish Industrial Association for Multiphase Flow (SIAMUF), has been formed.
