Summary
This programme will support postdoctoral and junior researchers to conduct research in the areas of nanoscience and nanoscale technology within a five-node international consortium. The overall objective of the consortium is to develop and study novel nanoscale soft-matter technologies and materials which are inspired by biological systems, and specifically engineered for advanced functionality. The programme will hopefully result in new fundamental knowledge, novel nanoscale engineering methods as well as nanodevices ready for commercialization. The consortium will have a collaborative link to a newly formed Göteborg-based company, Nanoxis AB (NAB) that develops soft-matter devices for single membrane-protein separation and analysis.
